Being an international student for ASRA

During my life in London,I have experienced a lot and the most challenging one is being part of a panel of experts on accommodation and attend  the ASRA(Association for Student Residential Accommodation) conference on April 2nd 2012 at Warwick University,as well as the other three international students. It was the first time they invited students to join and help accommodation officers better understand the actual experience of finding accommodation and living in the UK for an international student. It seemed that I was a lucky dog.Actually,my friends and I had an Easter Holiday Travel all around the North of Britain from April   1st to 7th and our first station is Liverpool,so I left our travel group to Coventry on the next day. Thanks to the google map,I had a smooth trip by myself. It was such a formal meeting and I was just a freshman, which made me a little excited.Fortunately, everything went well with a good preparation.I modified my talk details for four times and practiced speaking to my friends for several times, which made a good performance like a native speaker.I talked what I want to express with a medium speed.Officers there were also very kind and helpful.Totally,I really appreciated that I could have this opportunity, particularly I had only stayed here for two months at that time.I also want to give my thanks to Andrew, who told me this information and gave me advice.
